Making a Gift

Since its inception, the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation has raised more than $3.5 million to purchase new technology, innovative equipment and provide support for Cheyenne Regional programs. The equipment has helped trauma patients, provided advanced treatment to cancer victims, and allowed patients with heart disease to return to an active life - all close to their homes. The philanthropic efforts of many have saved lives.

Contributions Provide Critical Funding

Thanks to the contributions that area donors have made, the Foundation recently purchased a new cooling system for patients with cardiac arrest at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. This new equipment makes it more likely that patients will not only survive cardiac arrest, but return to their families with brain function intact.

A donor once said, "I'm giving to things that didn't even exist 30 years ago. So, I'm not going to try to anticipate the needs 30 years from now."

When we talk to donors about their area of interest, we have been pleased to find that the focus is often broad - what's best for the hospital, what will make a patient's stay more comfortable or what will help staff do their jobs better or easier. That's why the Foundation created a fund to address the greatest need at the time, now and in the future.

Donors can be assured that the Cheyenne Regional Foundation Board of Directors will be looking at the current needs of the hospital, the staff, and the departments to put charitable dollars to the best use possible.
