Hospital Board to Consider Expansion Options

Cheyenne, WY - The Board of Trustees for Cheyenne Regional Medical Center will consider two options for hospital expansion during their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 24. The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Vista room, 214 East 23rd St. Discussion of the two options will begin at 4 p.m. in auditoriums A and B.

Under option one, the hospital would expand at its downtown location. Under option two, the hospital would build an outpatient facility west of town along Happy Jack Road, with a small expansion to inpatient facilities in the downtown area. The options were developed based on an analysis of anticipated demands for healthcare and hospital services in Laramie County and the surrounding region.

Both options have been shared with hospital employees, physicians, volunteers and community members.
