CHEYENNE – Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is proud to announce its acceptance of a $50,000 grant from Union Pacific to support the construction of its Davis Hospice Center, which opened November 2006.
“Union Pacific has a long-standing commitment to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve and where our employees live and work. Our vision is that Union Pacific employees will take pride in their company's civic leadership and that our customers and shareholders will appreciate and recognize Union Pacific as an excellent corporate citizen,” said Robert Turner, Union Pacific Senior Vice President.
Cheyenne Regional’s Foundation was successful in raising funds for construction of the Davis Hospice Center. “We are proud to support Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation and extend our best wishes for continued success,” Turner said.
The Union Pacific Foundation grants to nonprofit organizations support education, health and human services and charitable outreach and reflect Union Pacific Foundation's 48-year tradition of supporting community and civic programs.
